Question about Logitech Computers & Internet
I had to reformat my laptop (HP dv5020ca), then when I tried to download the software for my camera (logitech P/N 861209-0000) from logitech website. My camera still doesn't want to connect. Is this a driver problem? Or did I forget to download something when I reformated my laptop? Help!
Logitech apparently doesn't include drivers for all of its webcams in all of its software versions. You need to download the version of the Quickcam software that matches your camera. You can find the correct version at the following link.
After your camera is working, you should be able to upgrade to the latest version of Quickcam software, and your camera should still work afterwards.
