Question about RCA F32676SB 32" TV
I bought a plasma, had the rca unplugged for about 2 months, and was going to give it away. i turned it on and it comes on fine for about 5 mins, then it will power off and on by itself 2 times, then flash error code 15. it was working fine before i put it away. could it be one of those wonderful cold solder joints rca is known for, or a bad prom?
when id is on i just have a 1080i input on comp1, and all menus and the built in dvd player work fine. pix look just as good as before, with no odd noises. it just wont stal on. i don't know if these tv's have an automatic shutdown that i can bypass. atlease if there is and smoke comes out of it, i'll know where the problem is lol
If you are fimniliar with TV fixing you should check its secondary supply may be the H out is short or some thing short there if you have schimatic its much easier to rectify.

I'm having the same problem. It appears to be some sort of programming issue. Unplug the set for a few minutes, then go through the setup procedure when you plug it back in. This will work for a while, if anyone has a permanent solution please post it.

Check vertical output section getting more heat. Due to this section also cause on and off problem. You will not mentioned in sound side. During this condition you get the sound or not. Check the audio supply voltage also.

The likely cause of this failure is the convergence ICs got shorted and for sure It damage the pico/micro fuses and some of the fuse resistors nearby the STK ICs.
You do not need the chipper checker thingy for now until you can correct the voltage issue.
I would suggest to remove the convergence ICs first and check for the other possible blown parts.
I could indicate where the parts are but I do not have the service manual.
Let me know if you need further assistance.

this sometimes is quite simple to fix as it cud be a dry joint on the circuit board where the tube motor sits.
or it cud be the tube is on its way out, which wud be cheaper to buy a new tv rather than have it fixed
