E8 is fault connection from CCU (Control board) to balancing sensor. When you get E8, this is often because of a faulty control board. Try first disconnecting power for a couple of minutes, to reset the appliance. If you still get E8, then you need to call a technician. Testing is done jumping the two wires to the sensor to bypass the sensor, then replacing either sensor or control board.

I am sorry to hear regarding the problem. E8 refers to a fault connection Central Control Unit ( CCU ) to balancing sensor.
The only User Fixable option would be to Unplug the washer for few minutes and then turn it back ON after few minutes. This would Reset the machine. If the problem resolved, that's good unless you need to call professional on site.
Note - More likely it would be a Control Board problem so let a professional on site fix the same for you.
Let me know, if needed further assistance.
Hope i helped you.
Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!
