If it is an oil bath air filter, overfilling the filter could do it.

If there is excessive vibration that could cause it.

Possibly during shutdown some backflow of air occurs.

There's a few possible causes which include blocked air filter or fuel filter as well as a clogged-up fuel injector.

Also consider an air leak - air being drawn into the injection system somewhere (or via a gasket on the inlet manifold). To check for an air leak, start the car and spray a light penetrating oil such as WD40 around the inlet manifold and pipework (including flexible rubber connectors) on the fuel system.

If air is being drawn in somewhere it shouldn't be, you may well get a cloud of whitish-blue smoke from the exhaust as the penetrating oil is also sucked in and burnt

Hi,
That's a 2 stroker, the problem with two stroke is usually air tightness.
There must be no air leaks from the engine block to the piston block. Check if there is a suspected air leak around the base of the piston block, engine block( carburetor inlet side ), and reed valve. You could see a leak if there is some 2T oil coming out from those areas.
Check also the reed valve that usually breaks down in two stroke engine, the flaps should seat tightly without any leaks.
Check all of that and tell me afterwards what happen.
Hope that helps you out.
Thanks for using FixYa!

Fuel/air ratio is correcting rich for an overly lean condition.
Possible Causes:
Fuel System---Exessive fuel presser, Leaking fuel injector(s), Leaking pressure regulator, Low fuel pressure or Contaminated injector(s).
Induction System--Air leaks after the MAF, Vacuum leaks, Restricted air inlet, PVC system, Fuel purge system or Improperly seated dip stick.
EGR--Leaking gasket, Stuck open EGR valve or Leaking diaphragm.
Base Engine--Oil overfill, Cam timing, Cylinder compression, Exhaust leaksbefore or near the HO2Ss.
CHECK AIR FILTER, AIR FILTER HOUSING FOR BLOCKAGE.
VERIFY INTEGRITY OF THE PCV SYSTEM.
CHECK FOR VACUUM LEAKS.
HOPE THIS HELPS YOU ??

When shutting down the compressor, oil comes out intake filter

hi there,
well,if your air compressor was shut off this due to pressure switch w/c auto switch off your compressor, the pressure switch acquired already the cut off pressure.if the pressure goes down the cut in set up reached it will start your compressor
to run.
regarding oil spillage when shutting down check the oil level on the sight glass of crankcase
a red line indicate oil should not exceed on that level line,if the oil exceed try to drain oil.,on the side bottom of engine there is a drain plug.until on limit level .,besure that machine is shut off/breaker is off.have a nice day don't forget to rate me,thank's

The HPOP (high pressure oil pump) is right under the filter housing. There are 2 lines that distribute the oil to the cylinder heads. The o-rings on those fittings go out. Kit is available from Ford or International. You will need a special wrench to get to the fittings though.
