Have you tried this http://www.franklinchef.com/service_call.html for a service. With the unit being this new, it's under warranty. Your sealed system is warrantied for 5 years. This is why you are having trouble finding someone to work on it plus Franklin Ind. does not want to pay the service company when they are sent the bill. Where are you located. If your close, i'll see what I can do about repairing it for you. Expect to have to pay for service from anyone due to the service company having so much trouble getting paid themselves. Although you should be reimbursed after Franklin pays.

This was copied from Franklin Ind. web sight and this is why no one wants to repair their equipment.

What does it mean if the refrigerator is leaking black fluid

Hello if it is leaking black fluid from the bottom of the fridge the most likely fault is the drain hole in the cooler is blocked stopping
the defrost going down to the heater to evaporate ,just clear the hole with a coat hanger wire or something similar

TRUE TBB-2G Cooler is leaking water from the fan

I would guess the water is dripping from an ice ball or buildup in the coil either from an inlet side of the coil blocked by an accumulation of dirt and dust or paper or such. Second, if you leave the door open for lengths of time ice will build up, also an over heated over loaded condenser will cause ice buildup. In any case if you shut it down, let the ice melt, clean the coil, keep the door closed as much as possible and if its hot where its sitting let it have some air it should improve. Last thought, if there is a refrigerant leak in the system ice will accumulate at the end of the coil, the compressor will stay on longer than normal and this water drip is letting you know a service call is coming soon. Hope this helps and good luck.

Why does my camper freezer have rust all over?

Probably condensation building up inside from running hot, cleaning out the coils with one of them dusters or vacuuming the coils (underneath the unit on some models or on the back of some models of refrigerators and/or freezers helps them to run cooler and to avoid that rust. With our pets I have to clean our freezers coil every 2 or 3 months.

Defy 620 litre side by side fridge freezer freezer not freezing or defrosting ice packs but when ice is remove than freeze until ice packs again

Try unplugging the refrigerator for 24 hours (Of course, remove any food.) Be prepared for it to leak. Then make sure the coils and door gaskets are clean. (A thin coat of vasoline applied to the door gaskets should help).

Freezer won't get below 25 deg F but fridge good. Coils, fan seem ok and don't think I have lost freon. Any ideas?

which coils seem ok? the evaporator coil behind the false wall in the freezer, these will have an even coating of frost from beginning to end if compressor running and refrigerant level ok. If you see the aluminum coil instead of frost on the entire evaporator, either compressor not running or refrigerant has leaked. Refrigeration coils rusted and leaking

Between the cost of the coil, the refrigerant, and the labor, I would say you would probably be paying more than you paid for the cooler ($500). Hope this helps

Rust on Jenn Air Refrigerator Door at Water Dispenser

You may end up respraying the door, but here goes.-

First mechanically remove as much of the rust as you can with an old screwdriver or similar scraper. Then use coarse emery cloth - 80 -120 grit untill all you're left with is shiny metal with rust pits.
You may need to go out further than you think - about 1" all round.

Then use a paint- on de-rusting fluid from vehicle products supplier. When all rust is black or dissapeared, use a zinc primer on all the bare metal. (this will stop it reacuring)

Then either spray the area with an "appliance white" aerosol or squirt it into the cap, and use a paintbrush.

If you are spraying it, open all house windows and doors, cut a mask from newspaper- then tape it to the fridge. Use blankets , plastic dustsheet or old sheets to protect things, and spray it from 12" in several very light coats.

When done, "polish" with T cut - which should remove the rust stain too.

Seal the area of the original leak with a white or clear silicone - and sort the original leak out.

If you polish the plastic with a silicone spray, water will tend to stay put rather than seep.
