Question about Scanners
I cannot connect my navman to my computer. I get the following messages; "Unable to connect to ICN Make sure that the iCN is connected to your pc and that activesync is running'. The computer shows that it has detcted new hardware, but then the message says 'SmartSt desktop cannot detect your iCN Rest your iCN connect to PC the click next" Still unable to connect. If I click 'cancel' i get the message 'Access violation at address 00EC08D4 Write of address 7C90EB5 (These numbers change each time). The latesyt message is that the activesync on my computer is not compatible. Have downloaded the latest version but still wont wok. Please helpas i'm really fed up with it.

Do the following: (1) find 'Microsoft Active Sync' - if you can't find it easily use the 'search' facility (start, search, all files and folders. enter 'Microsoft Active Sync') when it comes up click on its icon. It should now be loaded and your ICN will be recognised ready to transfer/remove maps. Ken
