Navman ICN 720 GPS device

I cannot connect my navman to my computer. I get the following messages; "Unable to connect to ICN Make sure that the iCN is connected to your pc and that activesync is running'. The computer shows that it has detcted new hardware, but then the message says 'SmartSt desktop cannot detect your iCN Rest your iCN connect to PC the click next" Still unable to connect. If I click 'cancel' i get the message 'Access violation at address 00EC08D4 Write of address 7C90EB5 (These numbers change each time). The latesyt message is that the activesync on my computer is not compatible. Have downloaded the latest version but still wont wok. Please helpas i'm really fed up with it.

I'm getting the same problem, if you get around it I would really appreciate it if you could tell me how you did it email address Makkand@ (without the space).

Do the following: (1) find 'Microsoft Active Sync' - if you can't find it easily use the 'search' facility (start,search, all files and folders. enter 'Microsoft Active Sync') when it comes up click on its icon. It should now be loaded and your ICN will be recognised ready to transfer/remove maps. Ken

Cyberview cs memor-ease unable to connect to pc

Try a connecting it to a different port on the computer. Make sure the computer can see a different device on that port, so you know the port is ok. Then try a different cable.

I have installed hp scanjet 2400 driver on XP but it is not working. message coming is "No HP Devices have been detected. HP Solution Center Will close now" Kindly help me out as i am unable...


Try a different cable to connect to the PC.

Try downlading updates and security patches from here.

If these don't work, power off the scanner > disconnect the connection cable > uninstall all components of the HP Programs in Add or Remove programs > restart the computer > reinstall the scanner drivers and programs > restart the computer > power on the scanner > reconnect the cable > test again.

If none of this works, the device may be faulty.

Setting up wind top AE1900 AIO MS-6638. I clicked RaLink Launch Config Utility. The ''Connect'' button at next screen will not activate..How do I activate wireless?

Make sure wireless network adapter driver is installed in computer.
You can check it in device manager if you use windows.
Right click on my computer then click on property then hardware->device manager.
You you can see all driver list.
Select network adapter and check wireless driver is installed and enable.
Then go to my network places property then righ click on wifi icon then click on view available networks.If you are on laptop then turn wi fi switch of laptop.Then if you are unable to see your wifi router ssid then you need to check router settings.
Connect your router to computer with ethernet lan cable.Then you can access it with following link.
for belkin router
Type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or blank or "password"
Then you can see configuration page of router.
Then click on wireless and enable it then change channel type to 4,6 or 11 then save settings and restart router .Then try.

Error message

Try going to CanoScan Toolbox > Settings and reset the 'defaults' button at bottom... this will restore factory settings and hopefully fix your problem... The other error message you can expect to get is "unable to scan - insufficent memory, check your **** space' (or something similar)... same fix works for both! ...Have had both messages on mine, sounds like a semi-regular conflict on some sort, but seems to be easily fixed. LiDE 600DF - Unable to scan

Hi Peter

Have had the same problem, seems to come and go a bit... Quickest & easiest fix is to go to CanoScan toolboox > Settings then press the 'defauls' button at bottom... this sets everything back to factory settings and should fix your problem. Cheers.

Error code 2019

Step 1 - Verify the scanner's power and connection

  1. Verify that the scanner is turnned on
  2. If the Check or Ready light on the scanner is flashing, click VIS1023 - Check Light Blinking on ADF Scanner for more information
  3. Check that the USB cable is connected to both the scanner and the computer
    • It is recommended that the scanner be connected directly to the back of your computer with a 6 foot or shorter USB cable
Step 2 - Redetect the scanner in device manager
  1. Turn the scanner off
  2. Click Here and select "Run" or "Open"
  3. The Windows Device Manager will open
  4. Go to "View" and choose "Show Hidden Devices"
  5. Click the "+" next to "Imaging Devices". This will show all Imaging Devices previously and currently connected to the computer.
  6. If listed, right-click on the DocuMate 510 then left click on "Uninstall"
  7. If asked to confirm the uninstall, click "OK"
  8. If the scanner is listed more than one time, uninstall ALL occurrences of the scanner
  9. IF you see "?Other Devices" in the device manager list, click on the "+" to view the list of Other Devices
  10. Right click on any instince of the scanner in this list then left click on "Uninstall"
    The scanner may be listed as any of the following:
    • USB Scanner
    • USB Device
    • Unknown Device
    • DocuMate 510
  11. Once the scanner has been completely removed from Device Manager, turn the scanner back on
If there is no Found New Hardware message when the scanner is turned back on and the scanner is not listed in Device Manager under Imaging Devices or Other Devices, this typically means the scanner is not communicating correctly with the computer. Try plugging the scanner into a different USB port or using a different USB cable.

I get an error message 2019 and unable to connect to twain device

Make sure that your scanner cable is not tightened too much. I had this challenge and found that by simply loosening the cable connection, this error message dissappeared.
