Question about Samsung Tocco F480 - Pay Monthly Cellular Phone

Open Question

I dropped my Samsung Tocco ultra in the bath, I left it to dry out and everything works fine but it doesn't hold a charge from the battery. When the battery has been fully charged, it only lasts a day and that's without excessive use. I got a new battery for it but it's still the same.

Tocco lite

the first thing you should look for is the battery,

1. is it properly installed ?
2. is there any power in the battery?

try to hold the power button for 5 seconds when the phone is charging.
If the phone goed on, your battery was empty.

Once you have the phone connected to charge, the phone will show a battery. if there is no battery on the screen:

1. battery dead?
2. charger/adaper dead?

I hope this was helpful

The phone will not charge

Try replacing the battery for $10-20 bucks. If that doesn't work consider having the phone worked on. Also, double check and see if you have insurance on your phone. Finally, If the cost is to high you might consider getting a new phone. Here is an excellent resource for new cell phones, they have great customer care and offer a very wide selection of the most popular phones from the major carriers. Get the insurance with every cell phone purchase in the future, it's worth it.....

your battery is gone mostly. Try with the new battery it should work. When you drop battery in liquid, it shorts and doesnt work. If in warranty call samsumg customer support. Do not continue to use as it may cause more problems with your phone.
