Tranfer mini cd to a normal cd?

I don't have the setup cd for my camera. and I have a cd that I recorded but cant see it. i want to tranfer the mini cd I recorded and put it a normal cd where I can see it on my dvd player

I can not tranfer video files from JVC GR-DVX 400EG to pc.

If you have a DVD recorder/player with DV in put, you can buy a FireWire 4 pin male cable from a good audio/video shop which can connect to the DV socket on the camcorder. I got mine from Maplins only last week and at last I am saving the tapes to DVD.
Follow the DVD recorder booklet instructions and note every time you stop recording it will be saved as a separate file.

Why will my laptop recognize the ZR85 camcorder in the card position and not in the tape position?

Because if you only connect with USB that's normal.
USB tranfers still photos.
For Video you will require a firewire cable connected to camera and computer.

first you tranfer the video to you computer then you computer problably have a burn cd and dvd burner, so you can tranfer you video files to a dvd disc.

How is the time/date stamp displayed on a copy

The time/date is 'stamped' onto the video during recording. The time/date stamp function can be turned on or off in the setup menu. If it was 'on' during recording, it will be displayed when played back. If it was turned off, it will not be seen on the recording.

DVD to mini DV tranfer

Only way is Play burned DVD in dvd player and provide Audio- Video out (yellow-red-white) to mini DV camera that has AV Line Input recording facility. Or find any Mini DV recorder and record tape.
In that way you can record video again on Mini DV tape.

Hi, you should setup analogue in function.

Page 93 on user's manual.

After that press REC PAUSE on camcorder and start your VCR or underwater camera.

I can't play the mini dvd-rw discs on my laptop I have tried to find the correct drivers and software to play the mini discs on my laptop, but I can't find the correct software. If my laptop does recognize a dvd in the tray, it just asks me to write files to it, but doesn't read data already on the disc. I am running Win 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS.

Put the CD back in the casmcorder, and hook up the camcorder to your tv. put a blank disc in your dvd player and play the small disc through the camcorder on the tv. while the camcorder is playing the recorded stuff, press record on the dvd player and it should burn the stuff onto the blank cd.
