LC-x50 has double vision or shadowing. What can cause this?

several reasons : 1.check cables, if too long and poor quality you get echoes in signal and shadows in the projected picture.
2.feed the right solution to the projector and adjust in menu pc adjustment the item FINE Sync. native resolution is 1024 x 768.

Our Proxima DP5800 will not turn on with remote

First check the main switch located at the rear of the unit next to the power socket.Make sure it's turned on. Next, if the projector turns on with the power button on top of the unit, then the problem is with the remote. Replace batteries to make sure fresh ALKALINE batteries are installed correctly--the batteries must SAY alkaline on them. Ordinary carbon batteries WILL NOT WORK! Check inside the battery compartment for corrosion from a leaked battery. To actually test to see if a remote is working, you will need use of a camcorder with "night shot" or night vision capability. Turn on the camcorder and set it for night vision. From a distance of at least 8-10 feet, aim the remote at the camcorder and press a will see the front of the remote light up as if it were a flashlight! That is the infrared coded light the remote produces to signal the projector. If you don't see any light, the remote is bad and will have to be replaced. If you see light, the receiver on the projector is not functioning correctly and will have to be repaired.

I had the same issue too. Dream Vision also makes the DL500 under different brand names.

Try the Kodak DP850 manual.

HI there

Check that your power cable is ok. Best way is by trying a differnt cable. If the problem still shows , you might have to open it up check if the fuse on the powersupply board is ok and then worst case cenario have the powersupply replaced.

Hope this is of help !
