There is a very easy way to do this. Go to your hardware store and buy a 1 gallon gas can, also purchase a 3.2 ounce bottle of 2-cycle oil, put a small amount of gasoline in the can and pour in the entire container of 2-cycle oil, shake the can for a few seconds and then fill the can the rest of the way and voila, a perfect 40:1 mix. I know there some out there who will tell you you have to specifically use Husqvarna 2-cycle oil and if you want to that is fine, but truth is, any brand of 2-cycle oil will be fine. Just make sure you get a 3.2 ounce bottle for one gallon of gas...your local hardware or lawnmower store (or Home Depot or Lowe's) has that size container of oil in stock and on the shelves. Cheers!

You may already have the answer, but if not the correct ratio is 50:1 for this model. I have the same model. The following link is for an online manual if you do not have one.

What is the recommended petrol mix for linetrimmer 325R - x series

120 ml of oil to 3.8 LITERS of pertrol. That seems to be the recommended mix.

I cut logs for a long time. I would always use 5 gallons to a bottle of oil. I never had any problems. I used the same for trimmers, and other 2 cycle engines. Or 1 part of the oil bottle to a gallon of gasoline.

How do I mix the gas/oil on my farmtouch chainsaw

Most persons use a 50:1 mixture of gas to oil.
That means put one ounce of oil into a quart and a half of gas.
Or two ounces into 3 quarts of gasoline.
Or, a little over two ounces into a gallon of gasoline.

I have a Hasqvarna 150BT blower that started to make a knocking noise at full power and has lost some power. Seems to start ok. Loss of power / rpm and knock are only ploblem?

I had the same issue with a Husqvarna 150 BT blower. Brand new ran through 2 tanks of gas and need to buy more gas , mixed 50 to 1 ratio 87 octane on new gas which was the same as what i was running and it started pinging and running like **** then stalled and would not start. took the plug out and it was fouled. cleaned the plug got it running again but still not good. This model comes with a NGK CMS7H plug which i replaced with a champion RZ7C and new gas 93 octane and lawnboy oil mixed 50 to 1 ration and now its running like a champ. I've had bad experiences with NGK spark plugs in the past and thought this may resolve the issue and it did. Hope this is helpful to anyone out there having the same issues. Also used some fuel stabilizer in the fuel mix, I hear this helps with the ethanol problem in the fall/winter gas.

Oil & Gasoline

Hi Thomas, you can find bar oil for the chain at just about any hardware store. Just tell them you need chainsaw bar oil. The oil that mixes with the gasoline is called 2- cycle mix. They will have that also. You can find the 2- cycle mix at a lot of gas stations too but a lot of guys caution not to use the 2 - cycle mix that is made for outboard motors. . Hope that answered your questions.
