Re: Mouse problem? m200

THe Problemis that the little membrane pad for the mouse is no making full contact. What you need to do, is open the case, and look where the mouse pad is, and see if it can be forced closer to the protective layer. If this does not solve the problem, you may have to send the laptop back to the manufacturer for them to fix.

Well start a bit slower then.
go into the bios at startup F2, and navigate around does it freeze there. if no then
start windows in safe mode F8 when windows logo shows.
freezing ?
If its not freezing then turn off the startup programs.
Start/run/msconfig and then uncheck load startup items
and start normally, click the dont show me this again /ok
any freezing.
If its freezing you may have a hardware issue.
if you have 2 sticks of memory remove on and or /reseat them
boot the dell diagnostics cd and check the cpu and memory.
report back

Mouse problem? or more serious problem on m200

Yes i know what you mean, I had this problem before very irritating, only thing I can suggest is to re-install the mouse driver from toshiba website and any firmware update. in my case I had to replaced the mouse pad module (this was on a Dell but it is the same concept)
