Table saws usually don't have shaft locks... i either use a piece of wood to hold the blade or a c-clamp. crank the blade all the way up, remove the plate surrounding the blade and put a wrench on the nut,,, hint it is a left handed threading so... its counterclockwise tightens and clockwise loosens.... ps unplug it

I fond some model numbers for table saws and I would recommend going to managemyhome.com with your model number and you can download a manual for this tool with detailed instructions on how to align so it is cutting square. I used the model number 11329884 just to see and I was looking at page 55

I need an instruction manual for my delta shopmaster 10'' bench saw model number TS200LS. I know very little about table saws and need to change the blade and would like to install a dado blade.

you might try Dewaltservicenet.com and type in your model number in the middle of the page under need manual and see if you can find it there if not let me know and I will try and find one for you.

How to change blade on 10" Craftsman table saw?

you need to grab the blade with something.maybe some pliers(if you are not going to refurbish blade) and loosen the nut in the center of the blade. i think it is a left hand thread(cw to loosen) because of the rotation of the blade. if the nut is on the left when looking from the front it is probably left handed. make sure it's unplugged and wear leather gloves so you don't get cut. install in reverse...

Can't Get Blade Off

without a model number I cant look at a breakdown but if it is like the table saws that I work on I would assume that you removed the center plate to get to the hex nut and spindle, if so what I have to sometimes is put my wrench on the spindle and brace it against the saw frame and using a soft mallet tap on the hex wrench to loosen the nut. After this initial blade change the hex nut has to be tight but not to the point of breaking wrenches. If this doesn't work get me the model number and I will dig deeper to try and help

Zero clearence isert

I'm not sure why the instructions said to change the blade in order to cut the slot. I've made several of the zero clearance inserts (for different blades) and always made the slot with the blade I intend to use it with. Of course, you need to match the inserts to the blades (I just tie wrap them together.
