Vtech phones don't work after storm

We had bad storms, lost power, got power back after 2 days, now all 4 Vtech phones don't work. Can they be fixed?

may be the frequency problem for noise problem.

The CS5111-2 isn't an answering machine. If you have a separate answering machine connected to your phone line, consult its documentation. If you're subscribed to a voicemail system offered by your phone company, contact them for information.

Using magick jack it will make calls but wont recieve

first of all using magic jack compared to a hardwired is complete nonsense, in an electrical storm if your building is hit it fries the magic jack gear, and you cannot dial 911, secondly, there is no battery back-up compared to dc fed phone lines!

The damage is not to the phone line it is to the phones. Unfortunately this is very common with powered phones as they are almost never kept on surge protectors and are very fragile. You will need to purchase a new base station to use with existing phones.

each phone has to be reset by putting them on the main base one at a time. try that.

I have a Norstar phone and during recent storms when power was lost caused time on phone to be wrong. now our going message says "office is now closed" but that's because the time is off (says it's current 4:53am). How do I reset the time or fix this?
