How can I resize a citizen watch with an expandable band? It's a little too big. The owner's manual doesn't tell. Thank you-

Thank you for trying to help. There are no removable links as you describe on this model. There is a clasp on the band opposite the watch that is secured by a pin but there is no directional arrow, so I'm afraid to probe it the wrong way. Where do you live? I remember the jeweler's kiosks in drug stores in my youth but have not seen one for decades! I wish we had those around here. Thanks for trying to help-

Hi- this band doesn't have any removable links, nor pins with arrows. I took it to a watch repair kiosk in a department store in the closest city and they couldn't figure it out either! But thanks for trying-

If you look carefully on the inner side of expandable bands, there's usually the removable links of the band near one or both ends of the band.
These usually have arrows indicating which direction the locking pin/tab slides to unlock and allow removal.
If you're careful, you can unlock them and remove one or two by using a small screwdriver. A very inexpensive alternative is to find a local watch repair shop and have them resize if for you while you wait. They've got the mini-tools and it's usually very reasonable (around here, there's a couple chain grocery stores that have watch repair kiosks inside..great alternative and cheap).

Can't adjust the wrist band on citizec C651

Look where the band connects to the fold-over clasp. There are several holes on the clasp. Use a plastic headed thumbtack or some other small pointed object to push the pin in and move to desired hole to fit your wrist.
If the longest adjustment is still not big enough you will need to add a link to the band. You can contact Citizen Watch at 800-321-1023 they will send you 3 links at no charge.

Resize the watch

If the band is screws then a small screw driver will do the trick. Make sure you use the right size screw driver so you do not strip the screws.
If the band is put together with cotter pins you can push out the cotter pins with a small awl or punch. You want to apply pressure to the end of the pin that is not split or appears to be smooth. Usually when you have cotter pins they are arrows or indicators on the band to tell you which way the pins come out. Make sure you put the pins back the same way they came out.

Adjust ladies citizen watch metal link band

If it is a metal link band, you can remove a few segments. Segments are connected by split pens. You should see a thinner end and a bigger end; or an arrow on the inside shows where the thinner end should be. Push the thinner end firmly with a pin or something until the big end pops out the opposite side.Use pliers to remove the pin.

Link removal of stainless steel watch band

Actually, this seems to be the big end of the split pen. Take a pin and push into the opposite hole ontil the big end pops out, then use pliers to pull it out. It should be easy to put it back. There should be an arrow on the inside of the band to show where to push.
