Making sure that all 4 legs are SOLID on the flooring is criticical on these newer machines. Here is an excerpt from the install guide: "Leveling the Washer
Excessive noise and vibration can be prevented by properly leveling the washer.
1. For free standing installation and with the washer in it’s final position, place a level on top of the washer. Adjust the leveling legs so the washer is level front-to-rear and side-to-side, and stable corner-to-corner.
Press down on alternate corners and sides and feel for the slightest movement. Adjust the appropriate leg so the washer is SOLID on the floor on ALL four legs. Keep the leveling leg extension at a minimum for best performance of the washer. "
Here are a few other things to check:
1. Make sure you have average sized loads- not just a single item or too many. I've seen machines that have one towel in them dance all over the laundry room... one wet item can really throw the machine off balance all by itself... make sure there's a few similar items in the machine.
2. If you overload it, cram it to the gills, it will struggle to spin all the water out as well.
3. Also if none of this helps, watch the floor area as the machine spins. If you notice the floor isn't solid enough, it may be flexing and need some reinforcement... this usually isn't the case,

Run the washer without a load in it. Open the lid when it goes to agitate and see if it is actually agitating by hold the lid switch down
with a small screwdriver or a pen. You may hear the grinding noise while it's agitating, just not as pronounced. You most likely just need the "motor coupling" on the unit.
Post back your results.

I have a 1989 Volvo 740 gle sedan i bought a battery but it will not hold charge, but it did last me 6 hours but sadly when night time came around and i turned on the head lights the car died. i got i jump...

Hello, The alternator is responsible for charging the battery. From what you have explained it sounds like a bad alternator. I may go to the person you bought the car from and ask to see documentation such as a receipt of purchase of the alternator. If he bought a new or refurbished alternator then it is defective and the place it was bought from should refund or replace it. If he got one used off another car or perhaps a junk yard then "new" can be an overstatement.

I have a WD 1049C front load washing machine and behind the front seal there appears to be a mould buildup. How can we clean this area?

you would need to take out the whole drum other words you will need to dismantle the whole unit.....first thing first get lysol aerosol spray and spray around were there is mold.....i would take the unit outside and then spray it.....becuase once the mold have been disturbed it will find another place to live u will need to use front load HE detergent......when you wash your laundry....start with the cold water clothes first then the last loads use hot water so it will wash clothes and disinfect at the same times...
lastly after all luandry have been washed washer door over night so it can air out.......if not opening it at all the water and detergent that sits over night can cuase mold buildup and foul odors.....the gaskets are air tight and can not evaporate when door is closed.....
if your house has a/c i would put a fan in front of the washer over night..............

a feed back would be good if this helps anybody.....
my opinion........
the older top load washers are better..............

On a flat floor but bangs and crashes when spinnig. Also the drum wobbles.

make sure you loads are balanced, put heaviest clothes in first... if you can rock it by hand then the legs are not adjusted properly. If you stand 2 feet away from front of machine, jump up and down and see it move the floor is soft and you need 2 sheets of plywood to make 1 1/2 inches put under the machine

You have to look for screws below the front kick-panel, you can raise the machine a bit to gain access to the screws, the panel comes down & out. You may find a drain hose here, on left, drain off the excess water. The pump is on the right side. Be prepared for dirty water. Inside the big flexible tube (coming from the tub bottom) is the filter, be prepared to find all sorts of junk here, clean out. You can pass it into a large plastic bag. Examine your pump also, clean out the impeller. Carefully refit all. Your machine would be fine. Don’t wait for the machine to jam to look into your filter.

I just fixed this same problem last weekend. First, you want to look under the machine. Get someone to help you tilt the machine until you can see the three big springs underneath the washer.
On my machine, it turned out that one or two of the the big springs that hold up the tub were either broken, or had jumped out of their sockets. Go to the parts depart of the Sears website, and give them a call. Don't bother with searching for your model number, because it doesn't usually work in the search.
You may need to also replace the bottom tray if the threads holding the springs down are stripped. Either that, or you can get some 1/2" nuts to hold them in place after you get the new ones. The set of three springs costs about $80-$90 dollars (not including shipping). The set also has excellent instructions on how to replace the springs. Took me about 2 hours to do by myself. If you're handy around basic mechanics, then I would highly suggest doing this yourself. But check the springs first before you go ordering them.
