I had a wireless mouse attached to my laptop. I must tell you that my dog found the mouse & mouthed it, not totally destroying it but mashing it pretty good. When I turned on my laptop it will not start, just keeps giving me info that there was a power surge or the reset button was pushed & it just keeps turning on & off. I cant do anything. Am I sunk
Did the lovely doggy pull the pc off the table or anything???? Try This:
Press power button
keep pressing F8 until list is displayed
Select safe mode and uninstsll drivers for wireless stuff
While at it you can clean down your system
Press start press run enter %temp% and press return and delete everything
Again press start and run and type prefetch press return and delete all
Then press stsrt all programs accessories and system tools and select defrag (this can take a few hours to do)
It will be like a new machine provided it starts in safe mode
