Let me know if you have installed XP service pack 3.
If you have installed XP service pack 3 then perform the below steps:
1. Click Start >> Run.
2. Type regedit in Run and then click ok.
3. Registry editor will open, click the '+' beside HKEY_LOCAL_ MACHINE.
4. Click the '+' beside 'SYSTEM'.
5. Click the '+' beside 'CurrentComtrolSet, then click the '+' beside ' Control'.
6. Then select 'Windows'.
7. Perform all the above steps in the left pane of the 'Registry Editor' window.
8. When you select the 'Windows' in the left panel of the 'Registry Editor' window, you will see 'CSDVersion' in the left panel.
9. Double click on it and change '300' to '200' and click ok.
10. Now download and install, the audio driver from the below web-link.
* Check the operating system and model of the pc before downloading the audio driver.
