My screen needs adjusting how do I do this I seem to have a blank area down one side

Hi There,
Right click the screen select properties, then the list on top will give you what you want. Its the settings part that gives the screen resolution. If that dont work go to your manufacture and download drivers. Another way is the blank side right click and you probs have something ticked there that gives you the area down the side. This is the part you should do first...Hope this helps...Please let me no...

Go to start - control panel - power options - and then go down to where it says turn monitor off and change the miniutes to the time you would like.

Open the cover and put a piece of paper on only half the glass, and make a copy. BLOCK the left side of the glass with the blank paper.
See where it is blank. Most of the times that is a dirty or haved up mirror in the scan head. One of the small mirrors in the black assembly under the lamp. When a digital copier scanner optics become dirty, the image in that area becomes very light .

The viewable area is bigger than the screen. I


You probably need to go into the control panel and change the resolution for your display

Display problem!!


Hi there polarized.

All you need to do is this.
1. Switch your mobile phone off then switch it on again.
2. Click the MENU button which is the top left keypad (the silver colored one)
3.Scroll down once, then to the right once.
4. Click the MENU button again.
5. Scroll down twice. Click MENU button.
6.Scroll down once or twice and click MENU button again.

This should either reset your theme to the default themes.

Make sure the video resolution is set to 1024x768.
Right click on a blank area on your desktop. click properties>settings.

Resolution problems


open your cpu remove the battery on the motherboard restart the pc without battery and refresh the bios by the jumper or a switch present near to the battery.

Change the resolution right click over your desktop blank area click properties and under setting you can adjust screen resolution

Blank area on both sides of screen


If you have it hooked up to a cable box, then you should be abl to change the resolution setting through the cable box remote control, if not call your cable provider to access the menu that does the resolution settings
