The print head is failed. You need to replace the print head. It's part number now is QY6-0064, because the old QY6-0042 is discontinued.

I have a epson workforce 7010, the black light will not go off. I tried different cartridge and tried cleaning the heads. what else may be wrong?

It could be possible that both of the cartridges you're using are empty. Also, Epson released a Firmware update on all workforce printers that really fix a lot of bugs that are with the systems. If you know they're both full, put the printer in the change in position (press ink button while printer is in standby with the power light steady) wipe the chip of the cartridge and blow on the metal connector inside the cartridge carriage. After doing all these processes close the door to the carriage, press the ink button and it should take right off.

I changed ink my printer showing wrong cartridge

Make sure you are using factory new Canon ink cartridges.

If you purchased re-filled cartridges or third party cartridges that is most likely your problem.

Not printing green light flashing red one constant

Here is the indicator light error page from the Service Manual
ad60d8c.jpg
You will see there is no specific error of "Power flashing" with "Error On". The inference is that the Power light was doing someting to cause it to flash (e.g. jn cartridge change mode) when something went wrong to cause the "power no change" with "red light on" error. The most likely I think is "no cartridge" - or more likely "faulty cartridge looking like no cartridge". Have you tried re-replacing the cartridge with yet another. Other possibilities are some sort of mechanical jam. Please report back on this.

My primera sig IV interior red lights stay on...

The interior light is part of the cartridge optical reader assembly and tells you that it isn't recognising the ink cartridge. Either they are the wrong cartridges or the bar code at the bottom of the cartridge is unreadable. Using a cotton bud dipped in a bit of metho wipe around the red and clear led's ensuring you clean the small slot next to the led's (the reader). Also either clean the barcodes on the cartridge, or change the cartridges.

Wrong cartridge

If the cartridge you bought is not compatible with that prescribed by the printer, the interconnecting ends may not match. You, therefore, need to change all wrong cartridges.

Highly possible that the "compatable" cartridges are not really compatable or that Epson has updated software or firmware to keep them from working. Try replacing with Epson cartridges or see if the non-OEM brand seller has a resetting device so the printer sees those cartridges as full.
