SOURCE: i cant delete anything
Click the main menu. Go to Messaging. Highlight "Inbox" You'll see one longer and 3 short horizontal bars. Use the top most button of your phone and tap twice quickly to activate the bars. A sub-menu pops up with the option to delete all messages. Otherwise, this phone will delete the messages automatically depending on the number of days you choose. By tapping that same menu, you have the option of turning on or off auto-delete messaging.
The Motorola Razr V3 has got to be one of the most user-unfriendly devices I've ever owned. I've finally found this in the Motorola Manual. WHEW! What a pain.

You can get the msg center number from your service provider.
Call them on the fault reporting number (should be free) and they'll give you the number.

if you really, really, REALLY, want to clear the memory of every name/number you have ever sent a text to or whatnot, you can reset your phone to factory settings, but that resets the settings, preferences, wallpapers, profiles, and everything else you have modified.
