I have the same problem. I've replaced two 3300uF caps on the power supply board, and two 1000uF caps on the board with the ribbon cables. However, my wavy vertical lines only show up on the component inputs. All three inputs to be exact. I know it's not a problem with the cable line because cable TV looks great. What is this LVDS? Please help. Thanks!

It could be #1 a ground loop in the cable line....#2 bad caps in the power supply.....#Or a loose LVDS cable going to the light engine.

Thin yellow vertical line 8.5ins from left side of the 14.5 width, top to bottom of screen. Please tell me the problem.

Hi, this looks very much like a faulty TFT panel, replacing the screen will repair over 90% of this type of fault. Before going to this expense, does the line become intermittent if you move the screen forward and backwards? If so the screen connector cable routed through the hinges may be faulty. It is also worth taking the top off the machine and checking the screen connector is fully home on the motherboard and take the screen apart and check the same at the screen end. Please only attempt this repair if you are competent at this type of operation. A lot of other damage can be caused by breaking connectors etc if you don't know what you are doing!

Hope this helps

Casio fx-9860G graphics calculater, vertical line segment

I am not sure how you can create such function (the range limitation do not work for x=c) but you can draw a vertical segment, just do not call it a function.

Draw a graph Y1=0
Then press SKETCH function key and use the F6 key to cycle through the TABS at the bottom of the screen. Look for the TAB named PEN. and click the function key below it.

Use the arrows to move the cursor to a spot on the screen (near the bottom), Press EXE to fix the starting point of the segment. Then use the Up arrow to draw a vertical segment from bottom to top.

How do you find the connection point for the horizontal rod that goes from the inside door handle to the vertical rod (with plastic knob at the top of it) that locks/unlocks the door? The car is a 1998...

The horizontal rod doesn't actually connect to the vertical rod. The horizontal rod connects to the door latch mechanism. The vertical rod also connects to the door latch, but at a different location. If as I'm guessing the horizontal rod has become dis-connected, it's probably because either the connector broke or fell off. If you need any further clarification, please leave a comment and I will try to help.

Sceptre X20G Naga III showing horizontal and vertical lines

Hi...there,

Yeah, there it... It's called a AD board. It that piece of component were you plugged your VGA or DVI cables to it. Panel scratchs repair kits, not recommended. Beside your panel could be already damaged by this problems you had. Replacing the AD board gonna cost you though...any where from $70.00 or more... My recommendation, just get a new one...saved you the headached and $$$.
Have a nice day!
