Question about NEC MT1075 Multimedia Projector
Have changed lamps in the NEC mt1075 projector, but still have blue haze on top right of screen?
The light filter on the blue lcd panel is fried due to excessive dust and heat. clean out the projector with canned air. unfortunately, you cannot buy individual parts of the optical engine- you'll have to replace the whole thing. or live with it.

If the problem is what I describe as a blue haze over the entire image projected, I was told this is a defect in the cable - we have a Dell Video Projector 2300 - and it takes only a dell VGA cable.
So, the problem is in the cable - solution is replace cable.
