What is the simplest way to connect speaker to radio?

Hi Micah, What Amp and leads do you have? Your passive speaker will need to be plugged into your amp speaker outs , and you radio into your Amps Tuner/Radio input or Aux, but just depends what system you have. Check what inputs and outputs your amp has and what leads you need as a lot of systems need different setup and cables/leads.

hi,
this mixer has output's from cd/tape(rca plug) that can be used to connect an additional amp for output to a sub. It is designed to use for recording but may also server as a pre-amp output to an external amp of choice.

Hooking up the speaker to an amp, using the rca line out of the amp i have no volume control from the amp knobs, can i hook the speakers up to the amp from the speaker out ?

You should NOT under any circumstances connect an audio input lead to a speaker output jack!
The RCA jacks you are trying to take output from ore "pre fader" which would be solid "line level" and not controlled by volume controls. Tap off the INPUT to the amp... you should be using balanced lines for the interconnects. RCA jacks are unbalanced lines. You can drive several inputs from a line level output of a mixer for example using a splitter cable.

I have a Behringer PMP 6000 that I just bought. With the power amp switch in Main L/Main R it works fine, but if I switch it to Main/Mon, only the Mon works, nothing from the Main. Bridge mode doesn't...

Bridge mode you use chan B (left connector on the back) using a SPECIALLY wired Speakon. The impedance of a speaker connected as such CANNOT be LESS than 8 ohms.

In the Main/Mon mode, the two amplifiers are separated in function. The monitor knobs for EACH channel input control the mix sent to Channel A which is for the monitor speakers. The Mon1 controls the level sent to Output A for the monitor speakers. Mon2 fader is NOT used.

The individual channel faders control the main mix and the Main fader controls the level sent to Output B which goes to the main speakers.

Check only one active speaker at the mixer output and report the results.
Connect only one of the audio inputs from the power amp at the mixer output (and the passive speakers at the output) and report the results.
Sometimes (in parallel connections) there are interferences from the volume controls.

First off it's outputs to your speakers. If you had an extra set of powered or amplified speakers you could "Y" cable your speaker outputs. Your passive speakers won't work without an amp. You really need powered speakers or an amp for your extra speakers. (if you had powered/amp'd speakers you could run them off one of you "aux" out for monitors. Do not daisy chain your speakers connecting twi together, you'll change the resistance/ohms and damage your speakers. Trust me, I do this for a living.

Passive speakers with 1/4 inch jacks do not define either as input as they are wired in parallel...

Assuming the speakers you added were each no less than 8 ohms this should NOT have overloaded your amp.If you have no sound you have probably blown your amp some way.

Note some amps can be blown if they are on and EITHER side of the speaker cable touches a ground. If the amp is running and a 1/4 inch plug is pulled, it shorts and can blow the amp.

Im trying to hook up two sets of passive speaker, one pair is connected to a QSC amp and the other pair is connected to a Kenwood amp. Is this possible without using another mixer like a mackie 1402.

you should be fine, you can get splitters, little adapters to split the input cables into 2, so that you can use one ouytput to run 2 channels. just hook up the output cables to the output on the numark, and use the splitter adapter to split the sound between the 2 amps.

How do i connect yamaha mixer to pc or yamaha receiver

I am sorry to disagree, but some information in the previous post is INCORRECT. DO NOT connect the output of the mixer to the MIC input. The mixer generates LINE level output that should go to the LINE-IN on the sound card. If you connect the mixer to the mic input, you will damage the sound card. MIC level inputs have an additional amplification stage.
