The player does support movies and videos.
So far I have at least 6 movies loaded on my SA6086 not including the 190 songs that I rotate and update with new music.

You must have your movie converted before you use your Philips converter.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

How do you load movies on to the philips gogear aria?

Almost same as with the any sanza mp3 player

but instead of Sanza Media Converter you need Media Converter for Philips
1) download "Media Converter for Philips"
2) install the download
3) sync your Philips gogear with your computer
4) load "Media Converter for Philips"
5) Drag videos to the converter
6) click convert

the videos will automatically be transferred to your gogear in from there

How do you load movies on the philips sa6145 4gb mp3 player

You have to use the Philips (Arcsoft) Media Converter to convert/transfer videos. If the converter is not recognizing a specific video type - FLV, for instance - download a free program called Riva FLV Encoder and convert the videos to AVI format first. Then the Philips Media Converter will recognize them.

The Philips Media Converter is not capable of converting an entire DVD - you will have to acquire video editing software, and then break up the DVD files into 15-minute chunks, and then convert each chunk.

If you are getting a codec error, do a google search for free video codecs - they are out there. Windows Codec Pack and downloading the latest version of quicktime will give you most of these needed codecs.

This player is not capable of playing copyright-protected videos - so don't even bother with them.

Additional information is available both from Philips website and from Arcsoft's website.

How do you put videos onto an 8gb gogear philips mp3 player?

You have to use the Philips (Arcsoft) Media Converter to convert and transfer video files to the Philips GoGear. Because the software likes to play a preview of the movie, you may have to download additional codecs to make it work. Copyright-protected or DRM-encrypted video files are not compatible with the GoGear.

I can not get my movies to play on my mp3

Run the movies through the Philips Media Converter software that came on the installation CD. If that fails, download the updated version of the Media Converter software at www.usasupport.philips.com. If that still fails, the video you are trying to convert has a special copyright encryption system that is interfering with successful playback - especially common on music video files.

My gogear sa3285/37 won't play the movie downloaded on it. why?

First of all, the Arcsoft software was available for free from www.usasupport.philips.com - I would go there and get the updated version of the converter and try one more time.

If the files that you converted were music videos from MTV or some surce like that, they still won't play b/c of the copyright protection system on them, that the Philips doesn't recognize.

How to put videos on

You have to install the Philips (Arcsoft) Media Converter that came with the installation CD - if you have lost the CD, you can actually get the new, upgraded Media Converter from www.usasupport.philips.com. The Media Converter can't handle full-length movies - it is more for shorter, You-Tube style videos. If the Media Converter doesn't recognize your videos, first get a free FLV codec online. If it still does not recognize the videos, download Riva FLV Encoder and convert any non-recognized video to AVI format. Then the Philips Media Converter will recognize the video, and you can run it through the converter. The Philips website also has a link to the full user guide which explains some of this, if you have lost the user manual.
