Thanks for your reply. I can't seem to find the repair kit for my TV model Mitsubishi VS-55601 which is about 11 or 12 years old.

I have a 12 yr old Mitsubishi projection tv model vs 60607 with a red/blue convergence problem. Can it be fixed?

It should be fixable----this model uses two of the STK-392-110 chips for convergence.

If it adjusts but will not remember the adjustments either a bad solder connection on one of the chips or a problem with the DCM---digital convergence module which stores adjustments.

Adjustments in customer menu may not be being stored--

Mitsubishi VS-50609 - Red convergence is way off, suddenly

You have a bad ground on a convergence IC. You will have to carefully pull this board out and resolder the pins. If this does not solve the problem you will have to replace the ICs. I have saved a few of these TVs with just a resolder job. Thanks for asking!

Left convergence on mitsu vs-60609

Convergence IC's inside of your TV are nearing end of the life. If during adjustments that you made Red and Blue was moving in all directions (left, right, down, up) than resistors and fuses still probably OK. IC's (part number will start with "STK" and they attached to huge aluminum radiators) have to be replaced and fresh heat sink compound have to be applied.
After that convergence adjustments should not be a problem. And color will stay together for another several years.

We have a 52 inch rear projection Mitsubishi not sure of the model number and the picture is starting to go blurry with reds and greens at the bottom of the screen

Here is another similar problem with a Mitsubishi Rear Proj. TV and it has some things to try and an estimate if that is the problem.

"Cost of convergence repair is always around $400"

You could also try messing around in the menu for convergence adjustments. Usually it will let you adjust at 8 points on the screen.

Mitsubishi ws65909

Yes,but first it is necessary to repair the problem = replace
both STK392-570 IC's.............Then use remote to adjust
convergence............."inside the tv" is called servicer menu = adjust after repair is complete. You can expect to replace IC's
every five years or so.......................T.

PS Try to match your problem thread model # to actual model #
ie. VS-5043 does not match WS-65909........T.
