Question about Nikon COOLPIX S9 Digital Camera
"card cannot be used" appears on screen as soon as i switch the camera on. has it been formatted?? should i buy i new card??
It may be of a type incompatible with the camera card reader. It is also possible that the card has a higher capacity than the camera microcode (firmware) is able to access. Check the manufacturer website to see if a recent firmware has enabled access to bigger capacity cards.
There is also the possibility of wrong format. Most cards are FAT or FAT32 to make them accessible by most computers, but you can never know.
Hope it helps
