I have a motorola ve440 phone, i am unable to set my small 200kb mp3 file as my ringtone. I tried saving it to my phone from my Memorycard too. It seems like only the file that came with the phone allows and highlights the ''Set As'' ringtone feature. Really dont know what to do .. please help

You could use audacity to save it as a 128kbps or a 64 kbps file and then it should work.

Use the internet on your phone and go to funformobile.com. once on the website go to media search. put a ringtone song that you want and then hit the search button. click on the file you want and allow it to download. After tha file is finished downloading, you will see a music player. click on options and scroll down to more... then scroll down until you see save items. click that and after your phone says that it is saved, log off the internet and go to your multimedia. go to ringtones and it should be there.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

I am being sent mp3 files via text from my mom to use as ringtones on my phone. Some of them are being saved to my ringtones, and others aren't. The ones that aren't are showing up in my ATT music, but not...

Possibly Not - I had the same issue with a Motorockr and I contacted customer service but they told me some items may be copyrighted and those in particular would not be able to be used as ringtones but you could still listen to them as a mp3 or midi file. I know Motorola has a program called Motorola Phone Tools and that program is suppose to allow you to make your own ringtones but I am not sure if LG has a similiar program or not.

Mp3 ringtone

You will need to download Motorola Phone Tools. Google it. That is all I can say. It will let you load pictures, videos, and mp3's as ringtones.

Hi

You can not play mp3's on this phone ---- Audio Playback: The Motorola C261 does not come with an MP3 player. This phone comes with built in polyphonic ringtones, which means you can download simple MIDI files from the Internet and upload them through your phone, or simply download them via GRPS (if GRPS is built in). We do not recommend purchasing polyphonic ringtones from pay-per-use services such as television commercials, because the C261 is capable of receiving them as MIDI files which are common on the Internet.
