Question about Westinghouse LVM-37w1 37 in. HD-Ready LCD Television
I have one of these TV's with distorted picture. The TCON was replaced with no luck. I then assumed it was a bad panel. But I'm seeing others with similar issues, so I'm now leaning towards a bad mainboard. In my own experience, Panels rarely just "go bad", especially without being sensitive to pressure placed on the ribbons that connect to glass, as this is what will usually go bad on a panel.
Probably a main board, unless I got a faulty TCON that does the exact same patterned distortion, doubtful.
It's the main board. That's my final answer Chuck.

If you getting a lot of vertical lines, double picture, it can be the LCD panel driver board, or worst case will be the LCD panel, very expensive.
