Not really...I have seen installations done poorly where the wire nuts in the junction box were loose. Often the box is rather small and the installer may not do a good job.

When not in use, the machine fills with water. The machine is switched off, and is empty.

first turn off the power by turning off the circut braker for the dishwasher, then if it still fill's with water the water valve is bad , this is a cheep easy fix.

Heat will not turn off.Removed thermostat wile

Could be a stuck control relay,Tsat completes a circut for this relay to engage, once relay contacts are closed heater will start.and stay on until you reach temp.

once temp is reached relay will open and heat will shut down.

By disconnecting all power to heater your forceing relay to open.or simulating a satisfied temp.

I would have a service tech look at your control relay and t stat.

Quiet partner ii just stopped

Most likely it has an internal fuse or relay gone bad. Check the curcuit w/ a "glow stick" power identifier available at Lowes or Home Depot.

Check the drain hose, check the net and the filter at the bottom of the machine, see if they are obstructed.
If you do not find any obstruction it may be a faulty pump, a faulty solenoid, or an internal problem with drain lines.
Check the inlet valve if water is not draining and also not being pumped in.

I purchased a diswasher (Hotpoint)about 1-1.5 years ago. It's model # is HDA3400G02CC and its SS# is TH887451Y. I don't think I registered it. No Matter, Two days ago, my garbage disposal stopped...

I purchased your service (telephone support) and the dishwasher expert contacted me. We discussed the issue, he made recommendations. I followed his advise and solved the problem. Before I could recontact him, he called to follow up on my progress. His advise was straight forward and correct and today my wife is happy to have her dishwasher working again.

Thank you,

Richard from Missouri

Candy cs455 m dishwasher tripping out power

if what you mean is that it trips the circut or fuse in your home then the circut that you have it pluged into is not sufficent to hold for the elctrical load that the dishwasher needs. you can do one of two things. change the circut that the dishwasher is on ( plug it into a circut that has nothing else on it or verfiy that the circut can handle a higher amperage .. if thats the case change the fuse / circut breaker to a higher amperage.

peace ... jk
