Question about Acer Aspire One Netbook 8.9" Notebook
Hello and thank you for using Fixya's services.
I have a few questions for you.
Have you been able to connect? What Windows are you running?
There should be a little switch on the front or maybe a button on the top where you can "enable wireless."
The wireless signal on the bottom should be telling you "netwroks available." Double click and connect to a network.
Check the router and make sure the wireless is enable. This can be done by connecting the laptop directly to the router (using an ethernet cable) and typing, in the address bar 192.168.1.1, enter user-name and password. Click on wireless tab and make sure the "enable wireless" is checked.
Reboot the modem, router and laptop: Turn all the devices off and the start the in this order. Modem first, router second and notebook third.
Please let me know the above questions and I can provide a more detailed answer for you.
