Same problem. Have had it 3 years. We had a 7 day power outage in Dec. & now when the automatic time comes on, it's 18 minutes behind & of course, I can't find the user's manual to correct "setting the time" problem. Would appreciate any help.

I just pulled mine out of closet. Found manual. You have to hold the manual clock set button in back of unit. Hold it in, press the select button and then press fwd or rev to increase/decrease time.

    Hope this helps.

To set the time:
Hit the SET Wake/Time Button closest to the CD player until the clock face appears in the bottom left hand of the display.

Use the TRACK Rev Search Fwd Arrows to adjust the time.
Rev will decrease by minutes and Fwd will increase by minutes.

Hope this helps.

I've got a Brookstone thin shelf system CD/Stereo w/ the same problem.

While plugged in but w/ power turned off (12:00AM flashing), press the Mem/Cl button on the remote. This will make the "12" continue to flash but the ":00" stops. Press the volume up or down to get the hour and "AM/PM" right.

Press Mem/Cl button on remote to move to ":00" and set minutes with volume control.
Once the hour, minutes and AM/PM are right, press the Mem/Cl button to lock it in. Viola! Hope this is helpful to you.

Hold the SEL button down for more than 3 seconds. A sub menu appears. Use the track select arrow key to select the hours, rotate the volume knob to correct hour. Press track select key to select minutes, rotate volume to appropriate minute. press select again to finish. If this doesn't help, go to, then go to support, then user manuals, enter model number. Cant display time

Upper right-hand corner, there's a button next to the "eject" button. Pressing this button while the unit is on will cycle between displaying the clock and the track number & play time (CD) or clock & radio station.
When the unit is off, you can press the same button to completely shut off the display, which is sometimes nice if you don't want the blue ring around the volume knob glaring in your face.
