Check outlet, then look at the power supply first since it is easier to get to, look for burnt parts, bad capacitors, etc.

Yes, you have to remove the stand and the back panel, you will need long philip screw driver to get the stand off.

I was using my computer one day. I shut down for the day, everything was fine. The next day I attempted to turn it on and the green light did not come on and I had no screen. Everything was dead.

More likely the power supply had died, look for bad caps with leaking/bulging top, fuse, etc.

My viewsonic vx2255 wont turn on sometimes i have also found a noise coming from the powerboard and once it goes away the monitor will turn on

You may have caps leaking in the power supply or arcing from the lamp assemblies, you need to open it up.
Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed VIEWSONIC monitors to get some ideas what to look for: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums
Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further and it will help out other people in the future also.

I have a Viewsonic VX2245wm or VS11349, Works and then it goes black for 2 to 4 sec then runs for 10 to 15 min and goes black

Look at the power supply section for bad caps first, see example of failed VIEWSONIC monitors due to bad caps: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums

Post back what you see inside, it can also be caused by bad inverter circuits or bad lamps.

Exactly the same problems.. It's been repaired 2 times and last night it went totally black... Bummer... but the image quality is excellent ( when it works) boooo viewsonic.. Natalie

What parts were replaced, or cheap parts were used? More likely to be either bad caps in the power supply, or bad backlight inverter circuits, see failed VIEWSONIC monitors due to bad caps here: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums

Monitor turns black after 2 seconds, Viewsonic VX910

Check the power supply first for bad caps, then check to see if you do have 12vdc feeding the the inverter circuits, worst case will be the lamps, see example of failed VIEWSONIC monitors due to bad caps: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums

My TV viewSonic after 2-3years would not to turnon

Have the power supply module checked out, it can be as simple as a blown fuse or bad filter capacitors.
