Machine set to 40 degree wash and timer starts at 54. Cold water enters dispenser prewash channel and enters drum. Cycle starts, counting down to 50 (minutes remaining) then hangs up.No cold water enters the wash chamber (middle channel in dispenser). After short time E10 code appears on display. If skip is used to 48, machine runs albeit with no more water. Checked filter ok and dispenser clean. Also narrow tubes to pressure switch blown through to drum and hear water burbling. Could this be faulty pressure switch, water inlet valve, or something else please. Thanks for any help.

possible a pressure stat fault. some pressure stats have a too high water detector which turns on pump

I have just had the same fault on a ZWF1631W machine. The machine overfills and goes straight to drain.
The level is controlled by an air pressure switch.
Remove the machine top, the switch is the round white plastic one. On mine, one of the wires had broken off. I had to replace the connector with .25" crimps.
If not, the switch may need replacing.

Had same problem. Yes, it was the pump - the impeller had come off the shaft. Removed the 3 retaining screws, popped the impeller back onto the shaft, replaced screws. Bingo - all ok. Cost - £0.00.

With the symptoms you describe i would suspect a intermittent heater element fault as you are getting earth leakage current which is tripping the whole supply rather than a current overload which would just trip the socket circuit breaker. Get the heating element checked over first as this is the most likely cause.

Hello,
This error code relates to water pressure check that the pipes are not kinked, check the water valves are fully on also check if the little filters in the end of the hoses are cleaned.Make sure that the mains water pressure has not been reduced. There could still be a fault with one of the inlet valves but it is most probably the little gauze filters
