Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
I have a Lexmark 4425 5400 series and i've been trying to print documents with multiple pages. First, the printer won't pull the paper in half the time, so I have to manually push it down to where it will grab the paper. Second, when I try to print some documents with multiple pages, if the document is not straight from Microsoft Works or Word, it will only print one page at a time. HELP!
Whenever the printer doesn't pulls the paper please pull the pack of papers, browse through the papers with your finger and put them back gently. If it doesn't work it means the wheels that pull the paper are worn and you need to replace them.
For the second problem, this is not a printer problem but a software problem, please specify which software do you use so we can help you, as each software has individual options to print multiple pages. It will also be more logical to post the problem in the specific software area.

cause of paper jams is debris/foreign objects that accidentally fell into the
paper feed area. Please follow steps below to fix the problem:
the sheets of paper from the feeder.
2. Grab a
flashlight and look inside the feeder for any debris or foreign objects.
you're willing and physically able, you may also turn the printer over. Any
debris should just freely roll out from the feeder.
feeder is clear, place the printer back on the table, open the printer cover
and remove the cartridges.
the cartridge area for any obstructions/debris in the cartridge carrier's path
or the paper path.
cartridge area is clear, close the cover.
your printer. Pull out the power supply, black box where the power cord is
plugged in at the back of the printer, and put it back after 30 seconds.
the printer turns on, reinsert the cartridges and load some paper. Try to print
a document again to verify that the problem is fixed.
