Question about Sony VAIO RB60G (VGCRB60G) PC Desktop
Have a Sony VGC-RB60 Series PC. Got back from vacation and it wont start up. turned off, unplugged. Screen where it ask tells you there were problems starting windows do I want to start normally or last safe configuration and a couple of safe mode startups. Tried all just turns off and comes back with same screen. When it starts up I hear 3 clicks from cpu then 2 clicks which I've never heard before. Once when I unplugged the screen ask for a boot disk. Any possible solutions??
Try the booting from the windows cd and repairing the os? if not working you may need a fresh install which means you will lose your data but your pc will still work. You can always download from www.ubuntu.com and burn the os to a cd rom and boot from cd, this will load a verison of linux, When cd rom starts chose RUN LIVE CD, this will not change the pc at all, when the os starts up you can go to places at the top and go through all your windows files and save the ones you want to keep to cd or external hd, then reistall windows, or who knows you might love linux and enjoy something thats free :)

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
