Two weeks ago I saw on Fixya service that my error code E000020-02b0 was a Magenta drum. I replace it this week and ran the printer about 400 copies then the unit stopped and a new code (almost the same) appeared, E00002002d0. I was instructed to turn off the unit then turn back on. I did this. Now the unit just runs constant saying the "printer is warming up" 1/2 the first time then I tried to finish the print run I was on. The unit acted like it was in "Slow Motion" the green lights stayed solid for a long time , then flashed for a long time and when I thought it was going to print the unit had to warm up again. I turned off and on several times for two days - no change. I saw today that my new error code says I needed a new drum according to some Guru, but the error code last week said that and it ran fine for 400 prints. The error coes were the same except the first had "B" as in "Boy" and the second had "D" as in "Dog"

    The Model number on the rear of the main unit of my Canon Imagerunner C3200 copier is: NO. MSK13054
    I turned on the unit and pulled the plug directly from the wall 4 times - no change, the copier just keeps running and saying on screen "printer is warming up" after 15 minutes it winds down like it is ready to print , goes silent then starts again "printer warming up"

    I have replaced both the Magenta and Black drums. The copier now constantly is in "warmer up printer" mode. It stopped once when tried to make a sample copy but the green light stays solid at "processing data" and never goes to blinking as if it is recieving the data. No more Error codes I replaced the black drum when a Fixya expert said "d0" (second error above) was two drums down from Magenta that was also just prlaced with error code "b0"

    No more error codes but will not stop "warming up printer."

Problem :
The C3200 gets stuck in printer warming up and as it attempts to go to ready, it goes back to warming up. This cycle just continues constantly. Possible E004 0002 in the error history log.

Solution :
Remove the Delivery Vertical Path Unit on the left side of the machine. You will see a photo sensor PS5 Fixing Feeder Unit Open/Close Sensor sandwiched between two microsensors that actuate when closing the Fixing Feeder Unit. Clean that photo sensor as it fills up with dirt and dust. You may also experience an E004 0002 in the error history.
Problem :
E020 with sub code of 01B0, 02B0, 03B0, 04B0.

Solution :
If the drum units have been removed repeatedly without the drum guide service tool it's possible to break one or both tabs (see picture below).These tabs open the toner hopper when the drum unit is slid in, and if they are broken, toner will not be fed into the drum unit.
NOTE: The unit may work for a while until the developer to toner ratio drops enough to cause an error.

Problem :
After replacing the cyan drum unit E020 with sub code 03B0 came back within 900 copies. This occurred two times. Swapped the cyan toner drive assembly with the magenta and the sub code changed to 02B0.

Solution :
Replaced the toner cartridge drive assembly. Figure 272 in the part catalog; part number FG6-8999-000.

It sounds like another drum unfortunately. Typically all the drums will go bad at the same time, and it is a good rule to replace them all at once. I ran a search on the code and I didn't find anything, but I would know for sure if I had the make and model of the printer. But it does sound like another drum unit.

I say this because printer and copier error codes are "in order". Look at the order of your toner from back to front. It is probably something like

1. Black - 02A0?
2. Magenta - 02B0
3. Cyan - 02C0?
4. Yellow - 02D0?

What ever your last toner is, it's probably the drum for that color... if that makes sense.

    Found it! It's the Magenta drum. Sounds like the one they gave you is defective. Please refer to this link for clarification.

    Here's what they mean. The last 4 digits of your code are 02B0. The "XX" is the first two numbers of that code.

    Unfortunately the Magenta drum is still at fault. From experience, the distributor will take the drum back if it is defective, and will send you a new one. I'd give that a try and see what happens. Good Luck!

If they are almost similar codes that would lead me to believe it's another drum (maybe 2 drums over?) you should probably post the make and model of the copier so the error codes can specifically be narrowed down.. as for the turning it on and turning it off.. i'd try a harder reset for that. while it's on i'd grab the plug and unplug it and give her a go that way..

The error code you gave shows several possibilities for your issue:

Drum charge corona wire, The output of the charge corona wire of the black PCU is abnormal.

Causes

• CGB power pack connection loose, broken defective • Check CGB power pack connection to BCU • CGB power pack defective • BCU defective • Replace OPC drum

Of the five possibilities above, replacing the drum is the most likely cause. Since you only had your drum for a couple of weeks I would take it back to where you purchased it and ask for replacement. Sometimes you get a bad drum out of the box from the manufacturer. It happens. If the same error code pops up again, I recommend you call your local Ricoh dealer for further troubleshooting.

More than likely the magenta cartridge is bad unless you have run a lot of magenta copies or prints and exhausted it.

If you are running an apple computer they do not always interperate themessages correctly from a Xerox printer.
You can fix that by making ABSOLUTLEY certain you have the right print driver installed!!!
Been there done that.

There are sensors just underneath that may be covered in excess toner waste. I tend to see that a lot when the company i worked for did canon machines.

We have a Phaser 7400. It continues to give us


If you've already changed out the toner cartridge and the problem persists, then it could be several other parts that are either defective, dirty or blocked.

You may want to contact a certified Xerox technician and have them look at the Imaging Unit Agitator Bar and the Low Toner Sensors for Cyan/Magenta. There could also be a faulty toner supply motor.

-01b0 is a yellow drum error

-0260 is a magenta drum error

Replace photoconductor message keeps appearing


Reset it .
If you are enter service mode 5-912 default 60K just input Zero "0" this will deactivate the PCU counter.

If it is bad you will have to replace it. It is the Photoconductor(Drum / Developer) Cartridge
