Sounds like either one of 2 things

lack of oil or dirty track, and with it being a coil nailer, i would opt for it need a good oiling

Looking for a Cental Pneumatic 41209 roofing coiled nailer bucket replacement

Usually the only place for parts for
Central tools is their 800 phone number listed on the document below. That gun was a good copy of the bostitch N12 roofing nailer and also close match to Unicatch roofing nailer. Look on ebay for a photo of the N12 and unicatch. Harbor freight got a lot of returned nailers. Maybe one of the local stores have returned nailers for the ;parts. ;Good luck

N12 Bostitch comp nailer, need a few inner parts. Where can they be located? An inside rubber piece fell apart.

I have seen these parts available on ebay. They are using parts from old Unicatch roofing nailer and Max cn55 coil nailer. I have an old craftsman lathe and cut parts from other nailers to fit. This is hit and miss and does not work as well as max parts. You can be creative or just buy parts from ebay. Good luck

Air leaks around green cylinder at trigger area and nail plunger will not retract. this is a stanley bostich rn45b nailer

Your nailer uses a trigger valve (part # tva6 cost about $20) and is sold at www.bostitch.com or generic valves sold on ebay . If you have a source for orings, you could try to repair the valve. Remove the roll pin that holds the trigger to expose the tva6 valve. There are roll pin/pins that hold the valve in just above the valve in the body. Remove these pins and apply air pressure to gun to pop-out the valve. Use caution when you do this. Remove nails, lower pressure to gun and use glove or rag to catch valve because it could come out with force. With tva6 valve in hand remove two pins that hold valve together and remove inner plunger. The middle oring on plunger is cause of leak. Try using an oring about same size as the broken seat. It must fit pretty tight to work. If you had a small leak it could be that the firing pin orings fit too loose or just too worn. Use silicone lube or oring lube on the orings and the valve port. Good holidays.

I have a Bostitch RN46 Roofing nailer. I bought it used. I first tried it out hooked to a JacPac CO2 system that happened to malfunction at the moment I used it with the roofing nailer. The pressure on the...

The high pressure blew out one or more of your o-rings inside. The drive piston should not move freely in the gun so the o-ring around that is definitely one of them. It's hard to damage the metal and plastic parts of a gun short of dropping one off a roof so rebuilding one by replacing the o-rings is always worth it. You should look for a rebuild kit Part Number: RN46-RK

I have Bostitch RN45 coil nailer. It sometimes does not feed nails. When I open the magazine the driver blade has not retracted. Gun does not leak, o-rings in drive section look to be in good shape and...

Causes of piston not retracting are as follows. Cracked /worn bumper, if cracked air will leak between piston and bumper. Try test, remove nails and dry fire gun against rubber or soft wood; depress trigger push gun against wood/rubber and hold in this position. Piston should stay down and no air should leak past nose. Worn piston oring, piston should not slide down cylinder under its own weight. Loose or missing check seal, remove cylinder and look for black rubber band around series of holes. Band should be in place and fit snuggly. Good luck

Hello 2 of my bostich rn-46 nail guns will not fire in the morning after working the day before. What causes this. thanks mike L.

There can be a number of reasons for this. A little more info is needed though (See below). This symptom can be due to a lack of lubrication, the plunger being stuck and not in the fully retracted position, etc.

1) Can you hear any air leaking anywhere?
2) Can you see the location of the plunger (drive pin)?
3) Is there any reaction to the trigger? WIth the trigger held, and hitting the roof, is there any air release or anything at all?

Thanks,
Dan

The air pressure won't pump by itsself,is it overheated?

Can you provide more details about what is happening here? The gun does not "pump" anything. Is the plunger not working or retracting? Is the trigger failing to work properly or is there air leaking fro the gun somewhere? Please provide some details so we can help,

Thanks,
Dan

Plunger want retract

The hammer could just need to be oiled or you could have blown a seal in the gun which is not expensive to fix around 20.00 . A lot of times when my gun jams on a nail it gets stuck so the hammer won't go down. I just use something thin that will fit on the hammer and take a hammer and just tap it back into place.
