Question about Toshiba Satellite L25-S119 Notebook
I have a L25-S11 that powers on with the Toshiba splash screen and asks for either F2 or F12. The hard disk drive light is always on but it never boots and either key will take you to the next level...i.e. entering setup or entering multiboot menu..please wait. Never goes anywhere...is frozen.
I've tried with hard drive removed...same results. Have tried with a known good drive from another laptop (XP system) with the same results.
No recognition of the DVD drive a all..won't open drive. Machine is 2 years old...no problems until this. Worked fine in morning.
Had the same problem turned out to be the DVD drive. Apparently it won't boot if the DVD drive is not recorgnized.
