Question about iLO (2 GB) MP3 Player

1 Answer

Stupid thing So I got an answer to my first ILO question about the installation CD, basically I was told I don't need it to sync music onto it. However, I'd like to have the music on there organized into playlists and such and I believe I'd have to use the program on the installation CD to do that. So, if I can't get my install CD to run, what do I do?

It sounds like you have autorun disabled on your machine. No matter. Insert the disc, click on my computer & you should see the name of the install disc in the drive you put it into. Click on it & look for a file called autorun or one that ends ".exe". It should start installing from there.

You can use any media player (iTunes, Windows Media Player, Winamp) to organise playlists. But you should be able to at least try out your software & see how it measures up.

Won't Install

1) Disconnect from computer, turn it off, hold in volume + button and reconnect it to your computer - continue holding volume + until the Found Hardware Wizard comes up.

REFORMAT FOR WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER - Erases Everything: Connect your iLo player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "ILO 2GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything, and give you a fresh start.

Downloading music trouble

After you've downloaded the music files you want from Lime wire put them in your music folder on your computer ,then you need to sync your MP3 player through windows media player. plug in your mp3 player then open windows media player, on the top right there is tab says sync. click on refresh devices and your mp3 player should show up on the right window pane in windows media player. From there you can drag all your music onto it and press sync!
Hope this works

Sync notice...?

If your using XP, go to the Windows Media Player and load the CD. You will see a Sync Icon. When you click on it will run and then give you a sync complete. Plug in your Sansa to the usb port and load from the Windows Media Player.
