Here is a good example:
You do the division then subtract the integer part of the qoutient so you will arrive at the decimal part. Multiply by the divisor then you wil have the remainder.
In the example you have given
99 / 13 = 7.6......
You subtract 7 you will arrive at 0.6......
multiply by 13 you will get the remainder 8
Hope this helps. There may be a simpler way but this will get it done. Here is a link to the manual as well in case you need to reference it for any reason.

    Hello

    Using the algorithm Original-Int(Original/divisor)*divisor

First you calculate Original/divisor; See what is the integer part
Then use the integer part to multiplies with the divisor. Finally Use the original to subtract the products.

For example, say to find remainder when 73 is divided by 8

So you find 73/8 = 9.125, and the integer part is 9.
    Now find 9*8=72
    So your remainder is 73-72=1

Let me know if it helps

    Kind regards
    Andrea

May be a little late but how about this method?

Press MODE MODE 3 to enter BASE mode. Press DEC if necessary. The calculator should show d.

Now suppose you want to find the remainder when 24 is divided by 5. You would press 24 - 24 ? 5 X 5 =
The calculator should show the remainder 4.

    In
BASE mode the calculator automatically performs integer division. This
is also true on the FX-3650P/3950P and you can use this property in
    writing programs.

Press MODE 1 to return to COMP mode.

    Kind regards
    Andrea

Reduce this tothe lowest terms 711over 22

The fraction 711/22 is an improper fraction (the numerator is greater than the denominator).
While there is nothing incorrect about this, an improper fraction is typically simplified further into a mixed number.
The whole number part of the mixed number is found by dividing the 711 by the 22. In this case we get 32.

The fractional part of the mixed number is found by using the remainder of the division, which in this case is 7 (711 divided by 22 is 32 remainder 7).

The final answer is: 32 7/22

How many times does 182 go into 2332 and what is the remainder

Hi,

I hope that I am in time!

Let's do it with long division first.

___12______________
182 ) 2332
182
-----
512
364
-----
148 <- this is the remainder
Now, let's try with a calculator.
______
2332/182 = 12.813186
To get the most accurate number, on your calculator subtract 12
_______
from this number and we get 0.813186 . Now multiply this number by 182 to get the remainder, and I get 148.

I love it when I get the same answer both ways;)

Good luck.

How to find 3inverse%11

I am afraid the question does not make complete sense.
However to find the remainder of an integer division
You use the fraction [a b/c] key
Example remainder of 29 divided by 15
29 [a b/c] 25 [=]
That gives you 29/15
Press [SHIFT][a b/c] (d/c), you get 1 u 14 u 15 or 1 14/15. The numerator of the fraction part is the remainder.

How to find remainder as a solution in CASIO fx991ES

Finding the remainder from a division calculation is often referred to as using the MOD function, though this isn't available directly on the fx-991ES.
To obtain the remainder, for example when dividing 10 by 7, you can only divide 7 into 10 once, leaving a remainder of 3.
For larger numbers, eg when dividing 389487 by 31 (equivalent to 389487MOD31) the division gives an answer of 12564.09677 (on the display), however you only want the fractional part so subtract 12564 to give 0.0967741935 . This includes the lower value digits that were previously hidden. Then multiply this result by 31 which gives 2.999999999 on the display. Since the result of a MOD or remainder calculation involving integers has to be a whole number, the answer needs to be rounded to 3. If the answer doesn't easily round to a whole number, it is likely that you have gone beyond the calculator's working capacity.
An alternative method which avoids the rounding of the fractional part is to take the integer part of the first result (12564) and multiply it by 31 to get 389484, then subtract this from 389487, giving the answer of 3.

How to solve the following algebra problem on the Canon calulator (HS-1200TS) 70/(1.8x1.8) or seventy devided by 1.8 squared

okay; it sounds like you are having trouble with the order of operations. A simple way to fix this and to ensure that you get the right answer is to multiply the 1.8 times 1.8, write it down, clear the calculator, and then do the division using the number you've written down. Sol your new equation will be 70/3.24 = 21.6049

How can I find the remainder of a division problem on my TI-84.

The function dies not exist in the OS's prior to OS Version 2.53 MP.
Anyway, if you upgrade the OS to version 2.53 M(ath)P(rint) you will have better handling for the fractions. You will also have a command remainder( accessible through the CATALOG.
  1. Press [2nd][0] to access (CATALOG)
  2. Press [x] to jump to forst command that starts with R,
  3. then scroll down till you reach remainder(.
  4. Select it and press [ENTER]
  5. Command echoes on main screen
  6. Enter two numbers, separated by a comma, close the parenthesis and press ENTER.
  7. You can also use Lists as arguments.
A quicker way to get to the command is to press [MATH] then right arrow to highlight the [NUM ] menu. Scroll Up to reach 0:remainder(

How to calculate 24124 mod 19937 in casio fx-991Ms calculator

The MOD function simply returns the remainder that is left over after dividing the two numbers.

In this case, its possible to see quite easily that only 1×19937 can be taken from 24124 before the remainder is less than 19937. The MOD function is therefore the same as 24124 - 19937 = 4187.

In cases that are less obvious, do the division, ie 24124 ÷ 19937 = 1.210011536[34]
[The last two digits are hidden on the display but still used in subsequent calculations].
Then obtain the fractional part by subtracting 1 to give 0.210011536[34]. Then multiply the answer by 19937 to give 4187. Assuming that you haven't cleared the screen between each section of the calculation, the screen will show "Ans×19937 [=] 4187".

I need solution for those questions

Here are the answers:

1. Use the MOD operator
DECLARE @i AS INT; SET @i = 0
WHILE true BEGIN
SET @i = @i + 1
IF @i % 10 BEGIN -- This is the MOD operator
UPDATE table SET Fields FROM table WHERE clause
END
END

% This is the MOD operator to find the remainder, which when @i is divisible by 10, the remainder (MODULAS) is 0.

2. You can't. Only the first and last can be defined. Any other AFTER triggers besides the first and last will fire in undetermined order.
