Question about Vtech V.Smile Pocket

The "enter" button won't work. Doesn't make any difference if you have the blue button on the left or the orange button on the right, neither "enter" button works when pressed.

I had the same issue, enter button didn't work on orange or blue side. Turned out the exit button (door icon) was stuck in a depressed position. Once the button was popped up the enter button started to function again.

What does the stereo colors stand for on an 1992 crown victoria Red, black, Grey/blue, yellow/black, white/purple, green/black ,blue/red, orange/green, white/green, blue/white, brown/yellow,...


Red = ground
black = ground
Grey/blue = Left rear (+)
yellow/black = ignition 12v
white/purple = right rear (-)
green/black = (could this be green / violet?) than it is 12v constant
blue/red = illumination
orange/green = left front (+)
white/green = right front (-)
blue/white = left front (-)
brown/yellow = left rear (tan / yellow) (-)
green/orange = right front (+)
orange/red = right rear (+)
blue = not used

I have a 2000 accent.I'm trying to self install my old eclipse deck but need a diagram for the accent wire set up.


Black - Neg. (-) earth, Orange/Black stripe - Constant 12V, Blue/Black stripe - ACC 12V, Green/Orange stripe - Pos.(+) Dimmer, Green/Black stripe - Neg. (-) Dimmer.
There are two Orange and two Blue wires, you will need to work out which is which, it's not hard.
Front Right - (+) Brown,(-) White;
Front Left - (+) Red, (-) Blue;
Rear Right - (+) Blue, (-) Orange;
Rear Left - (+) Green, (-) Orange.

Had to cut the factory harness


trick of trade... take a 9 volt battery and touch the wires to it.. the speaker will pop and you will know which one is which... do one color at a time
