I went into profile and found where it asked for your language preference. I put in English because it ws saying German and it worked. I got an answer from one of your experts a bit later and he did give me a bit different instructions but they would have worked too. Also, a person I did not even know must have read my request somewhere because they gave me the exact answer your expert did. They must have copied his e mail because even the spelling and content was copied.
Thanks aagin. I sent in the request to rate the expert's service

Clic on "Account settings" ( 1st option) then clic on "language tab" (2nd tab on your rigth). In the box text, opt for the language you prefer ("english"). After a few minute your facebook will change

Hi please help, everything, except what friends are posting up on my facebook page has all been put into french please help me get it all translated back to english

Look for the dropdown arrow at the top right of your screen. There will be a list of options to click on. The 5th from the bottom will be settings. Click on that and the settings window will come up. The bottom option in the second block down on the left hand side of the page will be Language. Click that and it will allow you to select the native language that Facebook will be translated into. Select English and you should be good to go from there.

I pocket changed my settings and now my facebook is in a language I don't understand, how do I change it back to English if I can't read what it says? Please help me! :)

Use Google Translate to put the page into English.
- If you use Google Chrome, just right-click and choose "Translate to English"
- If you used Firefox, install the Google Translate Add-On:
- If you use Internet Explorer, install the Google Translate Add-On:

If that doesn't work, get your computer next to a friend's, and have them open facebook, and you can see from their screen where you should click to change the language.

I try so mannytimes to get into facebook but nothing happened ihave so many questions to answer why?

If you are trying to do this at your place of employment it may be network blocked.most people don't really know this but a simple work around is to go to google translate. Type the Facebook URL into the first panel and call it any language except English.then translate the second panel to English then click on the answer in second panel.even though the answer is still the Facebook URL it will throw the signin page because google translate acts like a proxy server and bypasses any blocks.this usually works for most blocked urls.another way is to change the location from .com to .au or .de as this again gets overlooked by those trying to block the address to the country ampersand that you reside in, so if you are in the uk just change the to Australia .au.

You can try using or using google translate. To use google translate, go to, put in as the text to be translated. For the source language, pick anything EXCEPT "auto" or "English", and for the destination language pick "English".

The Language windows will pop up and select "English (U.S)" from the list.

Need a proxy for a school computer...need 1 to get on facebook that shows pictures!!!

Not exactly a proxy, but you can use google translate to do the same thing:
Translate the URL you want to go to ( from any language into English.  As the page you want is already in English, it'll just give you the page.  And I bet google isn't blocked on your school computer.
