When you go into a game, like wii sports, you need to go to the add more wii remotes button on the screen that is usually when you click on say bowling. we have to do this every time too.

Well wen i try to acsses the wii the remote wont turn on and go to 1 player

1) Double check the batteries
2) Try resyncing the remote with the wii console. You can do this by taking off the battery cover on the remote, and opening up the slot on the wii. They both have a colored button that you can try pressing to resync the remote to the correct wii.

My handsets wont sincronise with the system, I have fitted new batteries

Follow this procedure:
1. Turn the Wii console on and wait until the "Health & Safety" screen appears (don't press A).
2. Open the SD Card slot cover on the front of the Wii console, just below the disc drive, and press and hold the red SYNC button for 15 seconds. This will clear all synced Wii Remotes from the console.
3. Resync the Wii Remote by removing the battery cover and pressing the red "SYNC" button. Do this for all Wii Remotes you wish to use, and test for proper response.
4. If the steps above do not work, remove the batteries of the Wii Remote and leave them out for at least 2 or 3 minutes. Reinsert the batteries and sync the Wii Remote again. Test for proper response.
If after removing the batteries for several minutes, and resyncing the Wii Remote, your still unable to get the Wii Remotes to work, try syncing another Wii Remote if available.
* If another Wii Remote works, then your previous Wii Remote will need to be repaired.
* If multiple Wii Remotes do not work, or you only have one Wii Remote, a repair of the Wii console is necessary.

My remotes wont respond at all

It sounds like the remotes have become unsync'd with the system for some reason, so you'll have to resync them. To do this you should take the battery cover off of the back of the remotes and locate the little red button inside. There is also a red button on the front of the system. You need to point the remote at the sensor bar and press both of the buttons at the same time and hold them for around 5 seconds.

Wii remote will not follow command.

It's problem a radio interference, since the wii controller uses radio frequences to contact the device, try to resync the wii controller.

Wii mario kart, second wheel won't turn

I tried resyncing from the main screen, but one of the wiimotes still didn't work. I read to smack the wiimote facedown in your hand a couple of times, and that worked!!!

Apparently the motion sensor can get stuck inside, although it doesn't totally make sense, because previously when the wiimote didn't steer, it still moved on the screen to choose character, car, etc.
