Question about Cameras

1 Answer

I have a Sharpo Viewcam VL-E620U and need the part (adaptor) that plugs into QCNW-1338TA00 and then into the A/C outlet. I have 150 8mm cassetes I am wanting to digitize and record on DVD. So far I have not been able to find the needed adaptor. If you don't have it, could you please let me know information about it so I can advertize to try to find one. What does one do when the adaptor is no longer available at Sharp? I need help on this matter. Thanks. Robert Watson

I like your idea. I tried to contact JMBattery.com and could not get thru. I printed their info. I want to be sure that the universal AC power adapter will allow me to plug in the 3 prong end piece from QCNW-1338TA00 into the adapter. The other end goes directly into the viewcam case - looks like a regular battery but is attached to an electric cord. Since the battery alone is 3.6 volts, which setting would I use - 3V or 4.2V? I don't want to harm the viewcam. I appreciate your ideas. I look forward to what you think about this matter. Thanks. Robert Watson

If you mean the power adapter then you may be able to use a universal one, you may find it here, good luck.

Hi robertIt should fine with the 4.2 volts setting since the camera has built in regulation

If you want to be sure about the voltage settings just try on 3 volts at first,
you might just get a low batt. indicator and work fine anyway.otherwise go for the 4.2 volts setting

My sharp viewcam Model # VL-E30U has a snowy picture when I try to view pictures from from a casset

Sounds like dirty video heads.
Try running an appropriate head cleaning tape. After two or three attempts if there is no improvement it's time to see a tech.

Check to see if you have a source of power to your Viewcam. We suggest using either the supplied battery or the A/C Adaptor. For further assistance, contact us at 1-800-BE-SHARP.
