Question about GPS

Plug dry rotted and I want to hard wire the unit but the wires coming out of the plugs are different than the wires coming out of the unit...the unit is Black Red Green Yellow Gray and Blue...Out of the plug is Black Black Blue Red Gray and Yellow so wich do I match besides the obviouse..Thanks a million!!!!!!!!!!

    Yes sir I cut the plug off of my Lowrance M68c s/map and opened up the back to my curosity I found I found that the 6 wires coming out of the GPS were not exactly the same colors as the plug wires

    Sorry boss I did not know anything else was needed but there is another # on the back that is 051-1938-00 if that helps...

    The type is a Lowrance M68c gps and chartplotter for a boat if that helps any

    sorry you need to provide the exact model number, also wiring diagrams for GPS's are not available in any event, there are no owner replaceable parts and there fore no diagrams are available.

I have a 2003 honda shadow vt1100c spirit. it will not start but turns over fine. spark plugs get fowled with fuel . using the choke doesnt seem to make any difference, but it feels like its working ok. a...


Sounds like itermitten spark.Clean stator with electrical cleaner(under flywheel)then replace spark plugs and check for spark.then the electrical componets to check are CDI ignition box and coil.If either of these go bad you will have no spark.Check also the condition of spark plug wires and rubber boots these can somtimes dry rot and go to ground shorting out wire to plug cuasing bike not to start.

My heater ra50a has been sitting for two years got it out and removed all old fuel put in new will nor start. plug fires sputters but will not fire off


Replace the plug or remove and try to clean it. Also, be sure the wire running to the plug is not damaged or dry rotted.

Attempt to change the air filter. Check the spark plug wires for looseness. Check all vacuum hoses for cracks or dry rot.

check your spark plug wires they could be split or dry rotted causing them to arc on the block when the motor torques when your at full throttle

Radiator fan not running


Most fans plug into the wiring harness, plug could be corroded, also look for a ground wire with a rotted connection. Of course the fan could be bad, try wiring it direct to the battery to test it. If it works you may have a bad sensor that simply isn't telling it to come on, good luck,Chuck
