i have the senseo model hd 7814 i am on my second one in 3 days it will not heat up the same problem i have emailed phillips

I have just bought the 7814 too, and mine will also not heat up the water. I have tried flushing the unit out, and it just throws cold water out, and the light just flashes forever. Really frustrating, as it took 7 weeks to actually get some coffee from coffepods, and in that time I have thrown the box away, so it has never actually worked!! Not happy. Think I will stick with tea and a kettle!

I haven't used a seseo, but most coffee machines need to heat up first. There is probably one switch to turn on the boiler, and then the second for the pump. Try to turn on just the boiler switch and then wait for it to heat up (around 1 or 2 minutes).

Please tell me if an NA VR5500L Panasonic washing machine has a water heater? If it does, how does it work? the drain coming out is cold. THANKS A LOT

The only appliance that heats water internally for cleaning is a dishwasher. Washing machines don;t heat water. It's not efficient. Various industries have work their hardest to keep you from using hot water or the chemicals(phosphates) that help you clean better without it. Dishwashers warm 3 gallons no more than 20 degrees during a 30 minute cycle. Some washing machines are designed to avoid hot water completely and call themselves energy effient to get people to buy them. My wife would cut my heart out if I brought one home.

Sometimes there isn't enough hot water for a shower when the hot water mode is set.I have set the hot water temperature to 65 degrees

Are you waiting long enough for the water to be totally heated, before showering? Unfortunately, all the water doesn't reach 60 degrees celsius (140 degrees fahrenheit) in a matter of minutes. Try switching to the hot water mode sooner and allow enough time for the system to heat up entirely. If that doesn't solve the problem, the burner may need cleaning,

Hope this helped you. Please let me know. Thanks.

Hi! One of my friends has an old Vienna Digital coffee maker (Saeco). It works fine. The only problem she has is that her coffee is never hot enough. She has to put her cup into the microwave if she...

There is a thermostat that is stuck on the boiler. I would suspect that this thermostat has either:

1- A bad contact with the boiler. Contact is assured by thermal paste
2- The thermostat is faulty and gives false readings, thus preventing the boiler to heat the water enough.

Hope this helps

Hi, the hot water outletpipe( i don`t know how to say it in english) keeps leaking water. If the machine is heating up, tehe pipe allready starts leaking and keeps doing it. The machine is only 8 months...

Do you mean the "steam wand" ? The pipe you would use to steam milk?
That sounds like the steam valve needs replacing or rebuilding. If the machine is only 8 months old it is still under warranty. You should contact the store where you bought it or contact Gaggia service center in your country.

Have been given a LG dishwasher LD12AW2 from friend but they didnt tell me whether it hooks up to cold water or hot can you tell me please

You should be able to use either.
It really depends on your cheapest method of water heating.
If you use hot, then the connector hose should be for hot water.
Using a hot supply will result in quicker washes, as it will only be heating the water from 60 to around 90 degrees. Using cold it will take longer.

If you like to rinse dishes and then leave them all day for a wash later, then it may be better to use cold supply. If you just load and wash in one go - then use hot.

Engry problem

Its true you are using power to heat the water....
all the time its heating through different temperatures, different stains are removed. Also its agitating for all this time. If you put hot water in only it wont wash as long. Also the incoming temperature could be too hot for some fabrics. Also you wil be using your hot water to do all the rinses.
Its up to you, but, zanussi know what they are doing
