A secruity key is needed to conect to internet

Either your external modem or router isn't configured correctly, call your internet cust. support providers tech support.

Car is not recognizing your chip key - if you have a 2nd chip key see if that one works, if so replace key (and have it programmed to car by dealer).
If 2nd key also does not work = then it's with the ring receiver that is part of the 'lock assembly' (ie ignition), and that may need to be replaced.

This is a pretty common occurence in GMs. Go to this link, try the 10 minute quick fix. If that doesn't work, you'll be looking at taking it to the dealer, or bypassing the security system. as i remeber, the secruity code is the one that you put before you access a locked internet connection and the passes are usally wpa styled password. you should put go to run>cmd>type ipconfig>and find you ip adress and put your ip on you internet explore. if should directly connect you to the router figuration or the log in your adminstrater and go to security tab or it might be diffrent. find your pass and put it on the dsi. hope it helped.

Yes, that is a very good possibility you will need to have the keys reprogrammed.

I would remove all the MAC filtering and also remove the WEP secruity on the router and see if it connects like that http://mgmcc.forumotion.net/networking-tutorials-f17/removing-an-existing-wireless-profile-t109.htm then remove all the wireless pofiles on you PC using the above link now put the secruity WEP back on and re-enter the key and see if connects - if it does , go back into the router and set the MAC filtering you want

it maybe a firewall blocking access or the secruity code 1) disable the firewall and see if it now connects 2) log into the router and goto the wireless section and remove the secruity now see if that will connect
a useful tool to use if you can copy onto the PC http://www.xirrus.com/library/wifitools.php this will detect all the networks broadcasting - so you can now see if the adapter will detect your wireless network

Did the batery die??? Did you have to boost??? could be one of two things the pcm or your key needs to be reprogrammed, for the key connect the batery to a batery charger with it still connected to the truck, leave the ignition on for about 10-15 minutes or until the security light goes out, when it does go out turn off the ignition and turn it back on for another 10-15 minutes repeat this another time and it should be ok, if not take it to GM to have them check the pcm or replace...

press the menu key in the middle of the keypad, then when it asks you for the security code please enter 000000.....hopefully if you have change this code you remember the code you used.
