Simply means to reverse the wires from the way you currently have it connected.
Now depending on the board, it may want low or high voltage to have the polarity reversed.
If you have more info, feel free to write back so we can understand better what the need is.

Good Luck!

Proform580xp incline goes fullup jambs ican reverse to bot reversing wires black red wires

Hi Rick, by reversing the wires, you mean reversing a 3-pin connector near 2 Triacs (Transistor looking things) that should be bolted together, near a larger transformer?
If I have the motor control board right in my mind, this board has a couple of Triacs that engage the Up/Down windings of the lift motor.
IF ONE TRIAC shorts, the machine will lift or drop constantly, pinching the lift assembly rather hard, can damage the lift gearbox, and the servicer! Other than a shorted Triac, the only other cause would be a logic high on the console cable that is plugged into the control board, at the elevation "up" line. Never dabble with powered control boards if you don't know much about them, they can bite extremely hard when energized. If you need further help, google jatinah electronics. Good Luck!

Treadmill is going backwards

if the walking belt is turning in reverse, the drive motor is also turning in reverse. Check to see if the wires from the drive motor to the motor control board have been reversed.

Was the machine recently serviced? Drive motor or motor control board replaced?

Treadmill going backwards

Did this problem occur after this machine was serviced? Was the motor control board or the drive motor replaced?

The walking belt running in reverse indicates that either a failure of the motor control board itself, or the 2 wires from the controller to the drive motor have simply been reversed where they connect to the motor control board (controller)

Washer operates and displayes on insta wash but dose not on other options

First off, thank you for selecting Fixya as your goto place for answers. I am going to assume a few thing like the electrical cord is properly hooked up and the polarity in not reversed. Because if it is you will continue to have issues with the control board even after you replace it. Control board will be the problem here but can be caused by the polarity being reversed, but before you replace it you might want to check. I have found more board failure due to the polarity being reversed you would be shock. This is why, when reversed the power side will work for a while, but when the current changes direction or something else causes this to happen the board takes a hit, it will react confused and erratic. But yes, you will need to replace the control board to correct the problem you have today.Good Luck

We are trying to change the thermostat, of which was brought over by the mayflower, with one of the hunter thermostats, the wiring is confusing. can you help? we have a weathertron heat pump thermostat now

red goes to r for power, yellow goes to y for outdoor contactor, green goes to g for fan, white goes to w2 or E for electric strip heat, orange goes to O or possibly B its for the reversing valve which is usually energized in cool, some systems energize this valve in heat in which case it goes on B. If you have digital stat you can use the the blue or black to connect the common terminal @ stat and the common terminal on the control board or transformer or case ground.

Can't find "Auto.Trans. Control Relay" on a 2000 Mitsubishi Mirage 1.5 liter / also maybe "Elec. Control Unit"? Vehicle isn't moving as it should, very slow in drive. The shift letters blink...

My research brought me to a schematic, which showed the location of the A/T control relay. I called the dealer to verify, using part # and location. The part is on order, I will intall it myself.
