The speakers may be damaged, if you think water damage is the reason that the speakers are broken then follow these steps,
1. Unplug headphones. 2. Take you iPod to a dark place i.e room with light off. 3. Take a flash light and shine it in the headphone jack 4. Look inside the headphone jack. 5. If you see something red it is likely that your iPod got water in it and the speakers are shot.
Hope this helps, --Kaleb--

My ipod plays songs and i can hear the music but when i switch to radio there is no sound speakers do not work on radio..what is wrong????

Hi Fay
You need to clarify what you are saying....
Your iPod plays songs and you can hear music?
Where is sound coming from... Earphones?
How do you switch iPod to Radio....
Is there a cord connecting both together?
I would then suspect cord or connector type not matching up with radio input connector.
Connectors can be Sterio or Mono
Look at spacing on connector....

Ipod shuffle wont play

If iPod shuffle isn’t playing music
â iPod shuffle might not have any music on it. If you hear the message “Please use
iTunes to sync music,” connect iPod shuffle to your computer to sync music to it.
â Slide the three-way switch off and then on again.
â Make sure the earphone or headphone connector is pushed in all the way.
â Make sure the volume is adjusted properly. A volume limit might be set. See “Setting
a Volume Limit” on page 25.
â iPod shuffle might be paused. Try clicking the Center button on the earphone remote

Wont play songs from earphones

Dear brownwic,

Are you sure the earphones are plugged in properly? If they are, then there is probarly somthing wrong with the audio jack or the iPod.
If this information doesn't help you, I will be happy to arrange a live confrence call!

Ipod suffle

It won't play music while connected to computer, that's for sure. It only plays when it's disconnected from the wall charger and computer.

The songs could be in the wrong format
AAC is iTunes native format
Mp3 generally works
WMA is iffy - only unprotected (non-DRM) files will work
Streaming songs won't work

Ipod wont play music / No sound

The clicker noise you hear is separate from the audio output functionality of the iPod. It sounds like an issue with the headphone jack possibly. Try a soft reset by pressing the menu and center buttons at the same time for 5-7 seconds.

If that does not work, then please consider the FREE Diagnostic Testing that we offer through our website. It will cost you virtually nothing to have us diagnose your issue. Our company is staffed with formed Apple Techs and we are an Accredited Business with the Southern Colorado Better Business Bureau (BBB).
