Question about Televison & Video
If the color wheel is bad you should be able to remove the lamp and see it---the lamp faces it---it is a small round wheel with colored segments--if any are missing or gone it is your problem.
The wheel is located inside the set's optical light engine--you have to remove the engine to replace it--there are several sites on the internet that have printed and VIDEO instructions for the replacement of the wheel--takes less than a hour to do--
If you Google the model number on the set you should be able to find the part number----if not let me know and I will try to find it for you.
Most of the color wheels for these range in price from 90-140 dollars and there are a lot of sellers on Ebay who sell them.
